Kurume Kasuri is a traditional Japanese textile with over 200 years of history in the Kurume region of Fukuoka.
Its warm, rustic patterns are created using the kasuri technique, where threads are bound and resist‑dyed before weaving.
Known for its durability, the fabric develops a richer character the more it is used.
